Staffbase is seeking a Community & Office Manager for our team and office in Chemnitz! We’re looking for someone organized and collaborative, who feels passionate about building a vibrant workplace community and creating positive, inclusive spaces for our Staffbase team across Europe.

This role is based in our Chemnitz office and requires a mix of in-person engagement and occasional travel to other Staffbase locations. To make a meaningful impact in this role, you’ll need to be able to work from our Chemnitz office most of the time.

What you’ll be doing

  • Create a Sense of Belonging: Work with Chemnitz located leadership to cultivate inclusivity and community across various working categories (office, hybrid, remote)

  • Event Planning: Organize and execute events, rituals, and initiatives that promote community building and align with our company values

  • Office Administration and Management: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations, including supply inventory, vendor liaison, and addressing employee queries

  • Global Collaboration: Collaborate with community management colleagues from other locations to align processes and procedures globally

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance community management processes and implement new systems

  • Team Engagement: Coordinate team-building activities to nurture our teams and maintain a positive work culture

  • Facilities and Equipment Management: Correspond with property maintenance personnel and manage office space openings and closings. Assist with IT equipment needs to ensure our team has the tools required to excel in their roles

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Previous working experience in office or community management, facilities management, office administration or another relevant field (we’re open to other professions as well)

  • German and English language skills on C1 level

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Passionate about working in an international, open and dynamic culture
