As a Business Operations Working Student, you’ll support a variety of internal operations and cross-functional projects that help the business run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with the Business Operations team and collaborate with teams such as Legal, HR/Px, Procurement, and Finance to contribute to initiatives across areas like ESG, insurance, and process optimisation.This is a generalist role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility, and is eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple business functions.
What you’ll be doing

Assisting with cross-functional projects related to insurance, procurement, ESG, and process improvement

Supporting the documentation and evaluation of internal workflows to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements

Creating and editing internal documentation, process overviews, and presentations using Google Docs and Slides

Helping maintain project and task tracking via tools such as Jira
-
Participating in internal meetings, capturing notes, tracking follow-ups, and helping move projects forward

Providing general support across a range of business operations topics as required

Contributing to internal initiatives that promote an inclusive, collaborative, and well-organised team culture
What you need to be successful

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme, ideally in:

Business Administration, Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field

You are curious and keen to learn, especially when it comes to unfamiliar areas like ESG frameworks, insurance, or procurement

You bring a structured, analytical mindset, and enjoy breaking down complex tasks into manageable actions

You are detail-oriented, particularly when working with documentation, spreadsheets, or internal communication
-
You have strong communication skills in English (spoken and written); German is a plus

You are proactive, reliable, and take ownership of your work

You’re comfortable switching between topics, managing competing priorities, and working independently

You’re confident using Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and are either familiar with or willing to learn tools like Jira

You work well with others, demonstrate professionalism, and value respectful collaboration
